What's on at the Carers Centre?
Carers Cafe
Every Thursday between 10.30am and 1.00pm in the Centre we have a drop-in cafe. Carers are welcome to have a cuppa and a chat with other carers. This is very informal and the carers who come along say that they get a great deal of enjoyment and support from both the other carers and staff.

Dementia Carers Group RAH
A Dementia Carers' Group takes place on the first Tuesday of each month (except January) from 7.30pm until 9.30pm in te Old-Age Psychiatry Day Hosptial on the RAH site, next door to Ward 39, near the Craw Road entrance to the Hosptial. Parking is available outside the Day Hospital . Group members provide support to one another and speakers are often invited along to talk about issues related to dementia care. The group sessions are facilitated by staff from the Day Hospital and th Older Adults' Community Mental Health Team. If you require to bring along the person you care for, staff are on hand to provide actitivities for them in an adjoining room For further information, please contact the Day Hosptial secretary Jane Nicholas on 0141 314 7113
LGBT Carers Support Group Edinburgh 1st Tuesday of the Month
An LGBT Carers Support Group meets at the LBGT Centre for Health and Wellbeing on the first Tuesday of every month, starting on Tuesday 1st September from 7pm till 9pm. Extra workshops are also planned on 'Changing Relationships' (Thursday 8th October 6pm - 9pm) and 'Dealing With Guilt (Thursday 29th October 6pm - 9pm) Contact the LGBT centre for Health and Wellbeing for more information on 0131 523 1100.
Mental Health Carers Group
